Well, just about two days ago on Monday, the 8th... my friend Delanie was showing me some songs from a band she liked on the Facebook chat, and she said, "It's for To Write Love on Her Arms." At first I had no clue what that was... so I guessed. "Is it a band?" I asked her back. "No, it's a foundation" she replied. "For what?" I asked quickly. I know I've seen those words somewhere... a friend's bag? Than she gave me a very short summary, telling me it was based off a girl Renee who had a really hard time with cutting herself and depression. So I saw a video and read the story from online.

I have to say I've never been so glued to a cause or foundation before. I'm all about saving the trees and everything, but this I can really relate to. I did fall into depression last year in early 2008. I know how it feels to feel worthless, and feel like nobody cares and nobody can ever help you. This foundation also supports teens who have problem with drugs (Not that I've done some! LOL) but I do know some people who have problems like this I can't stop thinking about this since Monday.

I instantly started to get into my creative drive that I do every night when I'm either writing, making a music video, or just editing pictures. Yesterday... I drew a picture of a emo girl with the words, "To Write Love on Her Arms" next to her. This wasn't enough, I needed a real picture, not something made from paper and a pencil. So today was a half day school day, so I instantly ran up to my room and got to work. I set up a white background for the photos in front of my closet. I grabbed a bottle of black face paint from two Halloweens ago, and dipped Q-tips into the paint. I painted hearts across my arm, three on each arm. Than it got a little too messy, and soon as I knew it I had black paint all over my hands... and I was too stupid to set up my camera and tripod before painting on the black paint.

So I snatched a roll of toilet paper from off my nightstand (I use when I got a stuff nose in the middle of the night) and I wrapped it around my hand. I than carefully took my silver camera from out of it's case (WITHOUT GETTING PAINT ON IT) and I attached it to the tripod. Sadly I did manage to get paint on the tripod, but thankfully it wiped right off! I than took the pictures that I've been itching to take for the past two days. They came out just how I wanted to! The only problem was getting the paint off my arms... water did some use, but didn't get it all off! Than... I tried lotion because it usually takes off my eye makeup without a sweat, but it barely helped. So Yeah, I'm right now as we speak typing this with black smeared across my arms

AMAZING PHOTO! I also support the cause and wear a bracelet that I never take off. I am a life time cutter and trying to stop. I also have several T shirts. Firelight, a christian rock band also supports them. Thats where I found out about them. Survive the night, Love is the movement.
